California Flight Academy is a certified flight training facility approved by the VA and FAA under Part 141 (Private Pilot, Instrument and commercial ratings) and Part 61 (CFI, CFII and ATP ratings) of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Thousands of pilots have trained with us successfully. Whether you are just interested in getting your private pilots license or wish to progress all the way up to an Airline Transport Pilot rating, we have a program that's just right for you.
Below is a list of the courses we offer and the price of each course based on the FAA minimum requirements. Note that customers wishing to earn their Airline Transport Pilot rating will realize a substantial cost savings by enrolling in the full program rather than purchasing each course separately.
The courses are arranged in a logical progression to help you find the course or series of courses that will help you achieve your goals. Biennial Reviews, Complex Aircraft, High Performance and Type Ratings are done on a per-hour basis and are not listed here.
Finally, California Flight Academy is an approved LaserGrade testing center and all required FAA Written tests are performed at our facility.
