Malta is a group of islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Only the three largest islands, Malta, Gozo and Comino, are inhabited. The terrain is low and rocky with coastal cliffs. The approximate population is 0.4 million.

Malta, which is now a full member of the European Union, offers year-  round sunshine, bright blue skies, very few rainy days, and a typical Mediterranean climate making an ideal place for study.
